Beware of Uncle Sam.
(The countries of the world know the American government as Uncle Sam. Uncle Sam is the symbol of American militarism and capitalism. It is the driving force of the US Economy.)
US President Joe Biden has decided to welcome Indian Prime Minister Modi with 21 guns salute. Let's go very briefly and understand the global feats of the 75 to 80 years old American Uncle Sam in the context of Modi's upcoming visit of 21st June.

In martyrs' memory, the last Monday of May of each year has been decided as a 'National Holiday' as the 'Memorial Day'.
Thus America is a constitutional democratic country. But in reality, America is run by Uncle-Sam i.e. "Military Capitalist Industrial complex". Whether it is the American government, Democrat or Republican, the interest of the country is determined by Uncle Sam.
Now, let us understand why Uncle Sam needs our Modi Sahib and his devotees. Uncle-Sam has understood very well that the Indian PM Modiji is more than my actual shadow. (3) एआई उद्योग देश में आधुनिक जीवन के सभी क्षेत्रों में सूचना सांख्यिकी उपलब्ध कराना है। यह अपने आप में एक राष्ट्रीय और वैश्विक संपत्ति बन जाएगी। जिसके आधार पर नए अथाह और असीम औद्योगिक और रोजगार के अवसर सृजित होने की संभावना है। यह इस बात पर निर्भर करेगा कि एक देश के तौर पर हम उस मौके का कैसे इस्तेमाल करते हैं।

Question – What do you have to say about the large-scale use of the Internet, computers and AI (this term is now used as an alternative to – Artificial Intelligence in the article) that will make the country's industries and the workers employed in them redundant?
A – I am not one of those people who believe that the AI industry will create unemployment in the economy at large. I am not one of them; I do not buy that argument. Yes! It is a fact that when new machines and technologies are introduced in the economy on a large scale, some workers become unemployed. But new industrial changes also create new jobs on a large scale in different sectors of the economy. I have officially studied how much the new demand for labor in the entire economy increased when such changes took place in England at the time of the invention of the steam engine? The same argument was made when the use of fossil fuels like petrol, diesel started on a large scale. New machines and technologies reallocate and redistribute manpower to suit themselves. I do not think that new mechanical changes will create mass unemployment. I may be wrong on this point, but that's what I think.

R-Gandhi- Sam Pitrodaji Suggested about the positive use of AI, startup – Chat GPT. I think it is appropriate to suggest that serious efforts should be made to agree on the global level rather than the individual or national level regarding moral abuse and personal autonomy of civil life. But there should be no restrictions on its collective use at all. Because human prosperity and well-being are constantly increasing with new research.

Some months ago, we started walking from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. While walking we came to realize that it is not possible to use normal means of communication as we are using in politics. Conversations, public meetings like this are simply not working. All the media instruments needed to do politics in India were controlled by BJP & RSS. You know people are threatened, and agencies were used against people. They had applied all methods to silence voices of opposition & people. In some way, it has become difficult to act politically. That is why we decided to walk from the south to the North and began our Bharat Jodo Yatra.
When we started देखेंगे क्या होता है! After a few days we realized that it is not an easy thing to walk for a thousand KMs. I developed a pain in my old knee injury. Now I am really in trouble. Because one has no choice but to walk. Then quite a surprising thing happened. After walking, I started noticing in 5 to 7 weeks that there is a pain but I am not feeling pain at all. I got up early in the morning at 6-00 am, walking about 25 KMS & we stopped walking about 7-3o to 8-00 in the evening. I am not feeling tired, what is this? Then I started asking people, भाइ! आपको थकान तो हो रही है या नहीं? ये क्या हो रहा है? It is strange that all our fellow travelers equally do not feel tired.
Then I realized that what was going on is not that we are walking but that India is walking with us. And a large mass of people who are coming from all religions and communities, they are creating an atmosphere of love and affection that is why nobody was feeling tired. As if we were all in public, everybody was walking to gather.
People from all walks of life, from all religions, from all ages, kids, young & old, men-women participated in Yatra. They were creating an atmosphere of love & affections. So nobody was feeling tired. As if everybody was walking together. सब जुडके चल रहे थे, किसिको थकान नहि हों रही थी. दुसरेकि मदद हो रही थी.
That's where we came up with the idea that "नफरत के बाझार में महोबत कि दुकान खोली है|" The interesting thing about us, namely the congress party, is we have affection towards everybody. When someone wants to say something, he will be welcome, we are ready to listen. We are not going to get aggressive nor angry. We will listen to him. We will be affectionate to them, loving to them. That's our nature.
When everybody started walking to gather, a completely different type of energy generated in all of us. Then I noticed that the government tried everything to censor all news related to Yatra. जो भी उनमे ताकातथी वो यात्रा को रोकने में लगा दी.पोलीस को उतार दिया, मगर कुछ काम नहि करता था. और यात्राकी जो असरथी वो बढती जा रहीथी.ये क्युं हुआ क्यो? आप सबने हमारी मदद कि. The idea of Bharat Jodo Yatra is all in your heart. It is about respecting each other, being affectionate to each other, not being violent to each other and not being arrogant against anybody.
Here, we have the presence of Shikh brothers in this meeting. Guru Nankjee's entire life was about this. "Be Humble, Be affectionate" I read about the very ardent Yatra of Guru Nanak Ji. I read his journey's comparison with us, our Yatra is nothing. Guru Nankijee went to Mecca all the way to Saudi Arabia. He went to Thailand & Sri Lanka also. These giants did Bharat Jodo before we were born. Basavanajee from Karnataka & Narayan Guru from Kerala they travelled to every corner of India to spread the message of love and compassion. Adi Shankar Acharya did the same. We will find in every state of India great people made Yatra to unite and gave the message of love & peace. We have recent examples of Gandhijee's Dandi march also. Each one of them preached to respect not only your religion, culture but give respect & tolerance to other religions also. Be respectful to all religions, all cultures and languages. In fact they all are the same.
The assault that is taking place in India on our way of life. Sam Pitrodajee said, he grew up in his childhood with people of different religion, languages & culture. They were all neighbors. This is the very core of India that is being attacked.
Another tradition of India is that you never think that you know everything. The world is too big and too complicated for anyone to understand in total. If it is so for some group of people then it is a mental disease. We have a group of people in India who are absolutely convinced that they know everything. I think they think they know more than GOD. They can sit down with GOD and explain to God what is going on?
Our Prime Minister is one such specimen. I think if you set Modijee next to God then he will start explaining to God how the Universe works. And very soon God will be confused about his divine creation! These are funny things but that is really going on. We have a group of people who claim that they understand everything. They can sit with scientists and explain what science is to them. They can go to historians and explain history to them. They explain warfare to the army. And give advice to the air force. By their heart it is mediocrity. Actually they do not understand anything.
In life you cannot understand anything if you are not ready to listen to somebody. This is the lesson I learnt from Bharat Jodo Yatra. There is something to learn from everybody. We are much older than those children. But I guarantee you they will teach us how to sing. I was looking at them when they were singing. And I thought at that time I cannot sing like them. It is impossible. When you look at the person, you have to appreciate that they have an experience, they have a life, and they have seen things and maybe that you can learn a lot from them. We have to open our ears & listen to them so that you will be able to learn. That is the Indian tradition.
If you look at our country, you will find that our country has the ability to absorb any idea that comes before it.India has never rejected any idea. Everybody who has come to India has been received with the open arms & their ideas have been absorbed in India. That is the India that we like. India that respects the rest of the world. India that is humble. India that listens, India that is affectionate. That is the India that you represent here in the USA. You would not have been here if you had not agreed with these values.

(1) From the president of the Women's organization- What will be your stand on quota of Women's reservation in Parliament if your government comes in power 2024?
Ans-R G. Our party is committed to it. According to my thinking, Women's safety is related to their empowerment.- We want to create the mindset for involvement of women in the political system, business and their participation in governance.
(2) Tamil Group-represent science, reason & free thought- Since 2014 the present central rulers of BJP and RSS have concealed an agenda to impose one language, one culture, one tradition and religion in the country. Ours is a federal country. What is your opinion on that?
R G- You know India is the union of states constituently. And it protects all our diversity of religion, culture and languages. Your language namely Tamil is not only language, actually it is the way of life of you people. We as a political party endorses and enhances all diversities of our countries.
(3) Ambedkar King study circle- Rahuljee, what is your strategy to reduce income and wealth inequalities in the country? It is the history of mankind that these inequalities generate seeds of Fascism.
R G – We requested the BJP government to undertake Caste based Census to understand the real backwardness of people in all walks of life. But it did nothing except polarize the masses on the basis of religions. With the help of that census report we can have fair play in the distribution of national resources.
(4) Muslim Community- This government has reduced the whole Muslim community as the second class citizens of India. There are lots of young Muslim youth put behind the bars for no legitimate reasons. What hope are you giving to the whole Muslim community?

કેટલાક મહિના પહેલા અમે કન્યાકુમારીથી કાશ્મીર સુધી ચાલવાનું શરૂ કર્યું. ચાલતી વખતે અમને ખ્યાલ આવ્યો કે આપણે રાજકારણમાં જે રીતે ઉપયોગ કરીએ છીએ તે રીતે કોમ્યુનિકેશનના સામાન્ય માધ્યમોનો ઉપયોગ કરવો શક્ય નથી. આના જેવી વાતચીતો, જાહેર સભાઓ કામ કરતી નથી. ભારતમાં રાજકારણ કરવા માટે જરૂરી તમામ મીડિયા સાધનો ભાજપ અને આરએસએસ દ્વારા નિયંત્રિત હતા. તમે જાણો છો કે લોકોને ધમકી આપવામાં આવે છે, અને એજન્સીઓનો ઉપયોગ લોકો વિરુદ્ધ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. તેઓએ વિરોધ અને લોકોના અવાજને શાંત કરવા માટે તમામ પદ્ધતિઓનો ઉપયોગ કર્યો હતો. એક રીતે, રાજકીય રીતે કાર્ય કરવું મુશ્કેલ બન્યું છે. તેથી જ અમે દક્ષિણથી ઉત્તર તરફ ચાલવાનું નક્કી કર્યું અને અમારી ભારત જોડો યાત્રા શરૂ કરી.
થોડા દિવસો પછી અમને સમજાયું કે હજાર કિલોમીટર ચાલવું એ સરળ વાત નથી. મારા જૂના ઘૂંટણની ઈજામાં મને દુખાવો થયો. હવે હું ખરેખર મુશ્કેલીમાં છું. કારણ કે ચાલવા સિવાય કોઈ વિકલ્પ નથી. પછી એકદમ આશ્ચર્યજનક બાબત બની. ચાલ્યા પછી, મેં 5 થી 7 અઠવાડિયામાં ધ્યાન આપવાનું શરૂ કર્યું કે દુખાવો છે પરંતુ મને બિલકુલ દુખાવો નથી થતો. હું રોજ સવારે 6-00 વાગ્યે વહેલો ઉઠતો હતો, લગભગ 25 KMS ચાલતો હતો અને અમે સાંજે 7-3 થી 8-00વાગ્યા પછી ચાલવાનું બંધ કરી દેતા હતા. મને થાક નથી લાગતો, આ શું છે? પછી મેં લોકોને પૂછવાનું શરૂ કર્યું, ભાઈ! તમને થાકતો નથી? આવું શું બની રહ્યું છે? જે વિચિત્ર છે કે અમારા બધા સાથી પ્રવાસીઓને પણ થાકતા નથી.
પછી મને સમજાયું કે શું ચાલી રહ્યું છે; એ નથી કે આપણે ચાલી રહ્યા છીએ પરંતુ ભારત આપણી સાથે ચાલી રહ્યું છે. તમામ ધર્મ અને સમુદાયના લોકોનો મોટો સમૂહ પ્રેમ અને લાગણીનું વાતાવરણ ઉભું કરી રહ્યો છે જેના કારણે કોઈને થાક લાગતો ન હતો. જાણે આપણે બધા જાહેરમાં હોઈએ, બધા ભેગા થવા ચાલી રહ્યા હતા.
જીવનના તમામ ક્ષેત્રના લોકો, તમામ ધર્મના, તમામ વયના, બાળકો, યુવાનો અને વૃદ્ધો, સ્ત્રી-પુરુષોએ યાત્રામાં ભાગ લીધો હતો. તેઓ પ્રેમ અને લાગણીનું વાતાવરણ બનાવી રહ્યા હતા. તેથી કોઈને થાક લાગતો ન હતો. જાણે બધા સાથે ચાલતા હોય. सब जुडके चल रहे थे, किसिको थकान नही हो रही थी|
ત્યાં જ અમને એવો વિચાર આવ્યો કે " ये तो हमारी नफरत के बाजार में महोबत की दुकान है|" અમારા વિશે, એટલે કે કૉંગ્રેસ પક્ષની રસપ્રદ વાત એ છે કે અમને દરેક પ્રત્યે પ્રેમ છે. જ્યારે કોઈ કંઈક કહેવા માંગે છે, ત્યારે તેનું સ્વાગત કરવામાં આવશે, અમે સાંભળવા તૈયાર છીએ. અમે આક્રમક કે ગુસ્સે થવાના નથી. અમે તેને સાંભળીશું. અમે તેમના પ્રત્યે પ્રેમાળ બનીશું, તેમને પ્રેમ કરીશું. એ અમારો સ્વભાવ છે.
જ્યારે બધા ભેગા થવા માટે ચાલવા લાગ્યા ત્યારે આપણા બધામાં એક સંપૂર્ણપણે અલગ પ્રકારની ઉર્જા ઉત્પન્ન થઈ. પછી મેં જોયું કે સરકારે યાત્રા સંબંધિત તમામ સમાચારોને સેન્સર કરવા માટે તમામ પ્રયાસ કર્યા હતા. जो भी उनमे ताकातथी वो यात्रा को खत्म करने में लगा दी.पोलीस को उतारा दिया, मगर कुछ काम नही करता था. और यात्राकी जो असरथी वो बढती जा रही थी।ये क्युं हुआ? वास्तवमें तो आप सबकी दुआएं थी | ભારત જોડો યાત્રાનો વિચાર તમારા હૃદયમાં છે. તે એકબીજાને માન આપવા, એકબીજા પ્રત્યે સ્નેહ રાખવાની, એકબીજા પ્રત્યે હિંસક ન બનવાની અને કોઈની સામે અહંકાર ન કરવા વિશે છે.
અહીં આ સભામાં શિખ ભાઈઓની હાજરી છે. ગુરુ નાનકજીનું સમગ્ર જીવન આ વિશે હતું. "નમ્ર બનો, પ્રેમાળ બનો" મેં ગુરુ નાનકજીની ખૂબ જ પ્રખર યાત્રા વિશે વાંચ્યું. મેં તેમની યાત્રાની અમારી સાથેની સરખામણી વાંચી, અમારી યાત્રા કંઈ નથી. ગુરુ નાનકીજી સાઉદી અરેબિયા સુધી મક્કા ગયા. તે થાઈલેન્ડ અને શ્રીલંકા પણ ગયો હતા. આ દિગ્ગજોએ આપણો જન્મ થયો તે પહેલા ભારતને સ્વત્યાગ અને સમર્પણથી જોડો હતો. જેને આજે મોદીજી અને તેઓનીપાર્ટી વિ. નફરતથી તોડવા મેદાને પડયા છે. કર્ણાટકના બસવાજી અને કેરળના નારાયણ ગુરુ તેઓએ પ્રેમ અને કરુણાનો સંદેશ ફેલાવવા માટે ભારતના દરેક ખૂણે પ્રવાસ કર્યો હતો. આદિ શંકરાચાર્યે પણ એવું જ કર્યું હતું. ભારતના દરેક રાજ્યમાં આપણને જોવા મળશે કે મહાન લોકોએ એક થવા માટે યાત્રા કાઢી અને પ્રેમ અને શાંતિનો સંદેશ આપ્યો. ગાંધીજીની દાંડી કૂચના તાજેતરના ઉદાહરણો પણ આપણી પાસે છે. તેમાંથી દરેકે ફક્ત પોતાનાજ ધર્મ અને સંસ્કૃતિને જ નહીં પરંતુ અન્ય ધર્મોને પણ આદર અને સહિષ્ણુતા આપવાનો ઉપદેશ આપ્યો. બધા ધર્મો, બધી સંસ્કૃતિઓ અને ભાષાઓ પ્રત્યે આદર રાખો. હકીકતમાં તેઓ બધા સમાન છે.આપણા મુળભુત જીવનપધ્ધતિ પર ભારતમાં હુમલો થઈ રહ્યો છે. તે પણ રાષ્ટ્રપ્રેમના નામે!
સેમ પિત્રોડાજીએ કહ્યું કે તેઓ બાળપણમાં વિવિધ ધર્મ, ભાષા અને સંસ્કૃતિના લોકો સાથે મોટા થયા હતા. તેઓ બધા પડોશી હતા. આતો ભારતની જીવન જીવવાની પધ્ધતિની કરોડરજ્જુ છે. જેના પર દેશનો સામાજિક પરિમીડ ઉભો છે. જેના પર હુમલો થઈ રહ્યો છે.
ભારતની બીજી પરંપરા એ છે કે તમે ક્યારેય એવું વિચારતા નથી કે તમે બધું જાણો છો. વિશ્વ ખૂબ મોટું અને જટિલ છે જેને કોઈ એકલદોકલથી સંપૂર્ણ રીતે સમજી શકતું નથી. જો અમુક લોકો આવી બડાઇ મારતા હોય તો તે માનસિક રોગ છે. અમારી પાસે ભારતમાં લોકોનું એક જૂથ છે જેમને સંપૂર્ણ ખાતરી છે કે તેઓ બધું જ જાણે છે. મને લાગે છે કે તેઓ માને છે કે તેઓ ભગવાન કરતાં વધુ જાણે છે. તેઓ ભગવાન સાથે બેસી શકે છે અને ભગવાનને સમજાવી શકે છે કે આ દેશમાંઆ બધું શું થઈ રહ્યું છે?
આપણા વડાપ્રધાન આવા જ એક નમુના છે. મને લાગે છે કે જો તમે મોદીજીને ભગવાનની બાજુમાં બેસાડશો તો તેઓ ભગવાનને સમજાવવાનું શરૂ કરશે કે બ્રહ્માંડ કેવી રીતે કાર્ય કરે છે. અને ખૂબ જ જલ્દી ભગવાન તેની દૈવી રચના વિશે મૂંઝવણમાં મુકાઇ જશે.! આ રમુજી વસ્તુઓ છે પરંતુ તે ખરેખર ચાલુ છે. આ લોકોનું એક જૂથ છે જે દાવો કરે છે કે તેઓ બધું સમજે છે. તેઓ વૈજ્ઞાનિકો સાથે બેસીને સમજાવી શકે છે કે તેમના માટે વિજ્ઞાન શું છે. તેઓ ઈતિહાસકારો પાસે જઈને તેમને ઈતિહાસ સમજાવી શકે છે. તેઓ સેનાને યુદ્ધ કેવી રીતે કરવું તે સમજાવે છે. અને વાયુસેનાને સલાહ આપે છે. વાસ્તવમાં તેઓ કંઈ સમજતા નથી.
જીવનમાં જો તમે કોઈની વાત સાંભળવા તૈયાર ન હોય તો તેનો અર્થ એ છે કે તમે કંઈપણ સમજી શકતા નથી. ભારત જોડો યાત્રામાંથી મને આ જ પાઠ મળ્યો છે. દરેક પાસેથી કંઈક શીખવા જેવું છે.. જ્યારે તમે વ્યક્તિને જુઓ છો, ત્યારે તમારે પ્રશંસા કરવી પડશે કે તેમની પાસે અનુભવ છે, તેમની પાસે જીવન છે, અને તેમણે વસ્તુઓ જોઈ છે અને કદાચ તમે તેમની પાસેથી ઘણું શીખી શકો છો. તમારે કાન ખોલીને સાંભળવું પડશે જેથી તમે શીખી શકશો. એ ભારતીય પરંપરા છે.
જો તમે આપણા દેશ પર નજર નાખો, તો તમે જોશો કે આપણો દેશ તેની પહેલા આવતા કોઈપણ વિચારને ગ્રહણ કરવાની ક્ષમતા ધરાવે છે. ભારતે ક્યારેય કોઈ વિચારને નકાર્યો નથી. ભારતમાં આવનાર દરેક વ્યક્તિનું ખુલ્લા હાથે સ્વાગત કરવામાં આવ્યું છે અને તેમના વિચારો ભારતમાં સમાઈ ગયા છે. એ જ ભારત છે જે આપણને ગમે છે. ભારત જે બાકીના વિશ્વનું સન્માન કરે છે. ભારત જે નમ્ર છે. ભારત જે સાંભળે છે, ભારત જે પ્રેમાળ છે. તે ભારત છે. જેનું તમે અહીં યુએસએમાં પ્રતિનિધિત્વ કરો છો. જો તમે આ મૂલ્યો સાથે સંમત ન હોત તો તમે અહીં કાયમી ધોરણે સ્થાયી થઇ શક્યા ન હોત.જો તમે ગુસ્સો, દ્વેષ, ઘમંડમાં માનતા હોય તો તમે ભાજપની સભામાં બેઠા હોત અને કોઇના મનની વાતત સાંભળતા હોત.
અમેરિકામાં ભારતીય ધ્વજ રાખવા બદલ તમારો ખૂબ ખૂબ આભાર. અમેરિકન લોકોને તે બતાવે છે કે ભારતીય હોવું એટલે શું? તેમનો આદર કરવો, તેમની સંસ્કૃતિનો આદર કરવો, તેમની પાસેથી શીખવું અને તેમને તમારી પાસેથી શીખવાની મંજૂરી આપવી.તમારા કાર્યોથી અમને બધાને ગૌરવ અપાવો. અમને લાગે છે કે તમે બધા અમારા દેશના રાજદૂત છો. જ્યારે અમેરિકન લોકો કહે છે કે ભારતીયો અત્યંત બુદ્ધિશાળી છે, તેઓ IT માં માસ્ટર છે, તેઓ આદરણીય છે. આ બધા વિચારો તમારી ક્રિયાઓ અને વર્તનમાંથી આવે છે. તેથી તે બદલ હું તમારો ખૂબ ખૂબ આભાર માનું છું. તમે મને આપેલી ઉર્જાથી હું થાકતો નથી. આભાર.
હવે પ્રશ્ન-જવાબ સત્ર. ભાજપની સભાઓમાં આવું ક્યારેય નહીં થાય.
(1) મહિલા સંગઠનના પ્રમુખ તરફથી- જો તમારી સરકાર 2024માં સત્તામાં આવશે તો સંસદમાં મહિલા અનામતના ક્વોટા અંગે તમારું શું વલણ હશે?
જવાબ-આર જી. અમારી પાર્ટી તેના માટે પ્રતિબદ્ધ છે. મારી વિચારસરણી મુજબ, મહિલા સુરક્ષા તેમના સશક્તિકરણ સાથે સંબંધિત છે.- અમે રાજકીય વ્યવસ્થા, વ્યવસાય અને શાસનમાં મહિલાઓની ભાગીદારી માટે મોટાપાયા પર માનસિકતા બનાવવા માંગીએ છીએ.
(2) તમિલ જૂથ - વિજ્ઞાન, રેશનાલીટી અને મુક્ત વિચારનું પ્રતિનિધિત્વ કરે છે- 2014 થી ભાજપ અને આરએસએસના વર્તમાન કેન્દ્રીય શાસકોએ દેશમાં એક ભાષા, એક સંસ્કૃતિ, એક પરંપરા અને ધર્મ લાદવાનો એજન્ડા શરૂ કર્યો છે. આપણો સંઘીય(Federal) દેશ છે. તે અંગે તમારો શું અભિપ્રાય છે?
આર જી- તમે જાણો છો કે ભારત એ રાજ્યોનું ઘટક સંઘ( Union of states) છે. તે આપણા ધર્મ, સંસ્કૃતિ અને ભાષાઓની તમામ વિવિધતાને સુરક્ષિત કરે છે. તમારી ભાષા તમિલ એ માત્ર ભાષા નથી, વાસ્તવમાં તે તમારા લોકોની જીવનશૈલી છે. અમે એક રાજકીય પક્ષ તરીકે અમારા દેશોની તમામ વિવિધતાને સમર્થન આપીએ છીએ અને વધારીએ છીએ.
(3) આંબેડકર કિંગ સ્ટડી સર્કલ- રાહુલજી, દેશમાં આવક અને સંપત્તિની અસમાનતા ઘટાડવા માટે તમારી રણનીતિ શું છે? માનવજાતનો ઇતિહાસ છે કે આ અસમાનતાઓ ફાસીવાદના બીજ પેદા કરે છે.
આર જી - અમે ભાજપ સરકારને જીવનના તમામ ક્ષેત્રોમાં લોકોના વાસ્તવિક પછાતપણાને સમજવા માટે જાતિ આધારિત વસ્તી ગણતરી હાથ ધરવા વિનંતી કરી હતી. પરંતુ તેણે ધર્મોના આધારે જનતાના ધ્રુવીકરણ સિવાય કશું કર્યું નથી. જાતી આધારીત વસ્તીગણતરી અહેવાલની મદદથી આપણે રાષ્ટ્રીય સંસાધનોના વિતરણમાં ન્યાયી ભૂમિકા ભજવી શકીએ છીએ.
(4) મુસ્લિમ સમુદાય- આ સરકારે સમગ્ર મુસ્લિમ સમુદાયને ભારતના બીજા વર્ગના નાગરિક તરીકે હોંશીયામાં હડસેલી દીધો છે. કોઈપણ વ્યાજબી કાયદેસરના કારણોસર ઘણા મુસ્લિમ યુવાનોને જેલના સળિયા પાછળ ધકેલી દેવામાં આવ્યા છે. તમે સમગ્ર મુસ્લિમ સમુદાયને શું આશા આપો છો?

રાહુલ ગાંધીનું સ્વાગત કરવા માટે અહીં સિલિકોન વેલીમાં આવવું એ એક વિશેષાધિકાર અને સન્માનની વાત છે. 6 દિવસના વ્યસ્ત કાર્યક્રમમાંથી સમય કાઢીને અમારી સાથે ગાળવા બદલ રાહુલ ગાંધીનો આભાર. રાહુલજી સવારે 7 વાગ્યે આવ્યા હતા અને હાલ 12-00 વાગ્યે તો અમારી સાથે છે. તેઓ આવતીકાલે સ્ટેનફોર્ડ યુનિવર્સિટીમાં એક મુખ્ય કાર્યક્રમ કરશે. પછી અમે વોશિંગ્ટન ડીસી જઈએ છીએ- જ્યાં અમે પ્રેસ, નિર્ણાયક નેતાઓ, થિંક ટેન્કના લોકો, એનજીઓ અને બિઝનેસ લીડર્સ સાથે ગંભીર વાર્તાલાપ કરીએ છીએ, પછી અમે ન્યુયોર્ક જઈએ છીએ, જ્યાં અમે બૌદ્ધિકોના જૂથ સાથે બપોરનું ભોજન કરીશું. કલાકારીગરો, સર્જનાત્મક લોકો અને સાંસ્કૃતિક લોકોનું જૂથ. પછી અમે ભારતીય ડાયસ્પોરા સાથે એક મેગા ઇવેન્ટનું આયોજન કરેલ છે.
અહીં ભેગા થવાનો મને આનંદ છે. ઇન્ડિયન ઓવરસીઝ કોંગ્રેસ મધ્ય પૂર્વના ખાડી દેશો, યુએસએ અને કેનેડા ઉપરાંત 32 દેશોમાં છે. અમેરિકાના જુદા જુદા ભાગોમાં રાહુલ ગાંધી સાથે જાહેર પ્રવચનો ગોઠવવાનું અમારા માટે સરળ કામ નથી. અમે જ્યારે પણ રાહુલ ગાંધી માટે સભાનું આયોજન કરીએ છીએ ત્યારે સેંકડો અને સેંકડો વિનંતીઓ તેમને વ્યક્તિગત રૂપે મલવા, તેમની સાથે ફોટા લેવા વગેરે માટે આવે છે. કમનસીબે સમયના અભાવને કારણે અમે બધી વિનંતીઓનું મનોરંજન કરી શકતા નથી.
પરંતુ મારે કહેવું જ જોઇએ કે આ સૂચિત મુલાકાતો દરમિયાનનો ઉત્સાહ મેં પહેલાં જોયો છે તેના કરતાં ઘણો વધારે છે. તે અંશતઃ કર્ણાટક રાજ્યની તાજેતરની વિધાનસભાનીચૂંટણીને જીતને કારણે છે.બીજું મુખ્યત્વે રાહુલજીના 4000 KM, 13 ભારતીય રાજ્યોમાં 150 દિવસ - ભારત જોડો યાત્રાને કારણે છે. આ યાત્રા દરમિયાન તેઓ હજારો અને હજારો લોકોને મળ્યા હતા. મેં તેની સાથે ચાલતા 50,000 લોકોની છબીઓ જોઈ, જે એકદમ આશ્ચર્યજનક છે. હું માનું છું કે આ માત્ર અમારી પાર્ટી માટે જ નહીં પરંતુ ભારતના ભવિષ્ય માટે ટર્નિંગ પોઈન્ટ છે.
અમે અહીં છીએ અને અમે ટૂંક સમયમાં જ વિવિધ દેશોમાં ભારતીય ડાયસ્પોરાની મુલાકાત લઈશું. કારણ કે અમારું માનવું છે કે ભારતીય લોકશાહી એ વિશાળ જનહિત છે. અમારી પાસે 1.4 અબજ લોકો છે. તેથી આપણી લોકશાહી જીવંત હોવી જોઈએ. હું અમારી વિવિધ જાહેરસ્વાયત્ત સંસ્થાઓની હાલની સ્થિતિ વિશે ખૂબ જ ચિંતિત છું. તેઓનું રાજકીય પક્ષીય હિતો માટે મોટાપાયે ઉપયોગ કરવામાં આવે છે. આપણા નાગરિક સમાજનેપોતાના કાર્યો માટે યેનપ્રકારે કામ કરવા દેવામાં આવતા નથી અને તેમને સત્તા સામેના ચોકીદાર તરીકે જોવામાં આવે છે. અમે,તે બધા સાથે તર્કસંગત વાતચીત ગુમાવી દીધી છે. તમે ભારતીય ટેલિવિઝન પર જુઓ કે તેમાં શું બતાવવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે અને તેના પરથી તમે તારણ કાઢી શકશો કે ભારતીયોની આગામી યુવા પેઢીનું શું થશે? જ્યારે તેઓ કૌશલ્ય– કાર્યબળ તરીકે તેમના જીવનની શરૂઆત કરે છે, ત્યારે ભારતના ભવિષ્યમાં તેમનું જીવન કેવું હશે!
ભારતમાં શું ચાલી રહ્યું છે તેની મને ઘણી ચિંતા છે. મને ખાતરી છે કે તમારામાંથી ઘણાને એવું જ લાગશે. અમે વિદેશમાં રહેતા લોકો સાથે મોટી વાતચીત કરવા માંગીએ છીએ. કારણ કે ભારતીય લોકશાહી કેટલીક ગંભીર તાણમાંથી પસાર થઈ રહી છે. વિશ્વના ઘણા ભાગોમાં આવી જ સ્થિતિ છે. અમે છેલ્લા 4 વર્ષથી યુ.એસ.માં લોકશાહીની કામગીરીને લઈને ઘણી મૂંઝવણો અનુભવીએ છીએ. અમે હજુ પણ તે સાથે પૂર્ણ નથી. મેક્સિકો, તુર્કી અને અન્ય રાષ્ટ્રો જેવા કેટલાક દેશોમાં પણ લોકશાહી અંગે સમાન પરિસ્થિતિ પ્રવર્તે છે. સમગ્ર વિશ્વમાં લોકશાહી તેના અસ્તિત્વ માટે ગંભીર પડકારોમાંથી પસાર થઈ રહી છે.
આજે ભારતમાં નોકરીઓ એક મોટી કટોકટી છે. અમે અમારા યુવાનો માટે ખાસ કરીને તેમના કૌશલ્ય અનુસાર પૂરતી નોકરીઓનું સર્જન કરી રહ્યાં નથી. અમે AI (કૃત્રિમ બુદ્ધિમત્તા) પર ચર્ચા કરવાનું આયોજન કર્યું છે. એક તરફ આપણે જાણીએ છીએ કે નવી ટેકનોલોજી ઘણા ક્ષેત્રોમાં યુવાનોને વધુ બેરોજગાર બનાવશે. બીજી તરફ આપણને ઘણી વધુ નોકરીઓની જરૂર છે. આપણા દેશના પડકારો ખૂબ જ ખાસ છે.
આપણને રાહુલ જેવા યુવા દિમાગની જરૂર છે જે દેશનું નેતૃત્વ કરી શકે. આપણને ખુલ્લું મન ધરાવતી વ્યક્તિની જરૂર છે, જેની પાસે વ્યાપક સંપર્ક હોય, વૈશ્વિક અનુભવ હોય તે જ કારણ છે કે આપણે બધા અહીં મોટી સંખ્યામાં રાહુલજી સાથે વાતચીત કરવા એકત્ર થયા છે.
હું જાણું છું કે આગળનો રસ્તો ખૂબ જટિલ છે, તે એટલો સરળ નથી. કારણ કે આપણા ભારતના લોકોના મનમાં કંઈક એવું છે જેનાથી છૂટકારો મેળવવો મુશ્કેલ છે. "ભારત માત્ર હિન્દુઓનું છે."
અમારો ભારતનો વિચાર ઘણો અલગ છે. જેની સામે ભારતના વર્તમાન શાસકોએ ખતરાની ઘંટી વગાડી દીધી છે. ભારતના આપણા મૂળ વિચારો વિવિધતાના છે, સમાવેશક(Inclusive), સત્ય અને પ્રેમના છે. જેને મોટાપાયા પર પડકારવામાં આવ્યા છે. આ મને દુઃખ આપે છે. મારી ઉંમરે, મારા પર વિશ્વાસ કરો, તે મને ખૂબ જ ભાવનાત્મક રીતે નુકસાન પહોંચાડે છે. મારી વૃદ્ધાવસ્થામાં, મને અસહ્ય દુ;ખ પહોંચાડે છે કે ભવિષ્યમાં હું મારા પૌત્રોને કેવું ભારત આપીશ.(In my old age, I will fill that what type of India I will give to my grandchildren in future.)
આપણે એક દેશ તરિકે છેલ્લા 75 વર્ષમાં ઘણી પ્રગતિ કરી છે. હકીકતમાં અમે અહીં એટલા માટે છીએ કારણ કે ભારતે અમને ખૂબ જ ઓછા ખર્ચે શિક્ષણ આપ્યું હતું. આનો શ્રેય આપણા સ્થાપક પિતા પંડિત નેહરુ અને અન્ય તેમના સાથીદાર લોકોને જાય છે જેમણે આઈઆઈટી, આઈઆઈએમ, પ્રયોગશાળાઓ, સ્પેસ પ્રોગ્રામ્ડ, એટોમિક એનર્જી અને રાજીવ ગાંધીએ આઈટી અને ટેલિકોમને આગળ ધપાવવાનું વિઝન આપ્યું હતું.
મને રાજીવજી સાથે પણ કામ કરવાનો મોકો મળ્યો હતો. તેને હું ક્યારેય ભૂલીશ નહીં કે કારણકે તેણે મારા જીવનને અર્થ આપ્યો. એન્જિનિયર સિવાય મારા જીવનનો કોઈ અર્થ નહોતો. રાજીવ ગાંધીએ ફક્ત માત્ર મારા જીવનને જ નહીં, પરંતુ આપણા જેવા લાખો અને લાખો લોકો માટે રોજગારીનું સર્જન કરવાની તેઓની અદ્મય રાજકીય ઇચ્છાશક્તિ હતી.
જ્યારે વર્તમાન પીએમ મોદી કહે છે કે ભારતમાં છેલ્લા 70 વર્ષોમાં કંઈ થયું નથી, તેનાથી મને દુઃખ થાય છે, પરંતુ તે ઠીક છે, કારણ કે મને જૂઠ સાંભળવાની આદત પડી ગઇ છે. તેથી મારે કોઇ વ્યક્તિ વિશેષ વિરુદ્ધ કંઈ કહેવાનું નથી. ભારત સાથેની મારી સમસ્યા એ છે કે હું જે વિચાર અને વર્તન સાથે પુખ્ત થયો છું, તેવા મારા દેશ ભારતના વિચારને પડકારવામાં આવ્યો છે.( My problem with India is that the idea of India with I am grownup has been challenged.)
આ સાથે હું ભારતના મહાન સપૂતને આમંત્રણ આપું છું, હું એક યુવા નેતાને આમંત્રિત કરવા માંગુ છું કે તેઓ અમને તેમની 4000KMની સફર વિશે થોડું જણાવે. હું ઈચ્છું છું કે તમે, મારા સહિત શીખો કે તેઓએ આ સંઘર્ષ કેવી રીતે કરી શકયા છે. ભારત અને વિશ્વને આગળ લઈ જવા માટે તેમનો શું મત છે? આભાર.

आपके लिए राहुल गांधी का स्वागत करने के लिए यहां सिलिकॉन वैली में होना एक विशेष सौभाग्य और सम्मान की बात है। 6 दिनों के अपने व्यस्त कार्यक्रम से समय निकालने और हमारे साथ बिताने के लिए राहुलजी को धन्यवाद। वह सुबह 7 बजे आया और अभी 12-00 बजे है। स्टैनफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी में कल उनका एक बड़ा कार्यक्रम होगा। फिर हम वाशिंगटन डीसी जाते हैं- जहां प्रेस, महत्वपूर्ण नेताओं, थिंक टैंक के लोगों, गैर सरकारी संगठनों और व्यापार जगत के नेताओं के साथ हमारी गंभीर बातचीत होती है, फिर हम न्यूयॉर्क जाते हैं, जहां हम बुद्धिजीवियों के एक समूह के साथ दोपहर का भोजन करेंगे, एक अन्य के साथ दोपहर का भोजन करेंगे। कारीगरों, रचनात्मक लोगों और सांस्कृतिक लोगों का समूहके साथ। फिर हमारे पास प्रवासी भारतीयों के साथ एक मेगा कार्यक्रम है।
मैं यहां एकत्रित होकर प्रसन्न हूं। मिडिल ईस्ट यूएसए और कनाडा के अलावा 32 देशों में इंडियन ओवरसीज कांग्रेस की प्राथमिकता है। अमेरिका के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में राहुल गांधी के साथ सार्वजनिक संवाद की व्यवस्था करना हमारे लिए आसान काम नहीं है। जब भी हम राहुलजी के लिए एक बैठक आयोजित करते हैं, सैकड़ों और सैकड़ों अनुरोध उन्हें व्यक्तिगत रूप से देखने, उनके साथ फोटो लेने आदि के लिए आते हैं। दुर्भाग्य से हम समय की कमी के कारण सभी अनुरोधों को स्वीकार नहीं कर सकते हैं।
लेकिन मुझे कहना होगा कि इन प्रस्तावित यात्राओं के दौरान जितना उत्साह मैंने पहले देखा है, उससे कहीं अधिक है। यह आंशिक रूप से कर्नाटक राज्य की हालिया विधानसभा चुनाव की जीत के कारण है और मुख्य रूप से राहुलजी की 4000 किमी, 13 भारतीय राज्यों में 150 दिन- भारत जोड़ो यात्रा के कारण है। इस यात्रा के दौरान उन्होंने हजारों लोगों से मुलाकात की। मैंने 50,000 लोगों के उनके साथ चलने की तस्वीरें देखीं, वो बिल्कुल दिमाग चकरा देने वाला थी। मेरा मानना है कि यह न केवल हमारी पार्टी के लिए बल्कि भारत के भविष्य के लिए भी महत्वपूर्ण मोड़ है।
हम यहां हैं और हम जल्द ही विभिन्न देशों में प्रवासी भारतीयों से मिलने जाएंगे। क्योंकि हम मानते हैं कि भारतीय लोकतंत्र व्यापक जनहित है। हमारे पास 1.4 बिलियन लोग हैं। इसलिए हमारे लोकतंत्र को जीवंत होना चाहिए। मैं हमारे पब्लिक विभिन्न संस्थानों की मौजूदा स्थिति के बारे में बहुत चिंतित हूं। हमारे नागरिक समाज को कार्य करने की अनुमति नहीं है और उन्हें प्रहरी के रूप में देखा जाता है। हमने उन सभी के साथ तार्किक तर्कसंगत बातचीत खो दी है। आप भारतीय टेलीविजन पर देखें कि क्या चल रहा है और आप देखेंगे कि भारतीयों की अगली युवा पीढ़ी का क्या होगा। जब वे एक कार्यबल के रूप में अपना जीवन शुरू करते हैं, तो भारत के भविष्य में उनका जीवन कैसा होगा?
मुझे इस बात की बहुत चिंता है कि भारत में क्या हो रहा है। मुझे यकीन है कि आप में से कई लोग ऐसा ही महसूस करेंगे। हम विदेश में रहने वाले लोगों के साथ बड़ी बातचीत करना चाहते हैं। क्योंकि भारतीय लोकतंत्र कुछ गंभीर तनावों से गुजर रहा है। दुनिया के कई हिस्सों में यही स्थिति है। अमेरिका में पिछले 4 साल से लोकतंत्र की कार्यप्रणाली को लेकर कई भ्रम हैं। हम अभी भी इसके साथ नहीं कर रहे हैं। यहाँ तक कि मेक्सिको, तुर्की और अन्य देशों जैसे कुछ देशों में भी लोकतंत्र के संबंध में यही स्थितियाँ हैं। पूरे विश्व में लोकतंत्र अपने अस्तित्व के लिए गंभीर चुनौतियों से गुजर रहा है।
आज भारत में रोजगार एक बड़ा संकट है। हम अपने युवाओं के लिए विशेष रूप से उनके कौशल के अनुसार पर्याप्त रोजगार सृजित नहीं कर रहे हैं। हमने एआई (आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस) पर चर्चा करने की योजना बनाई है। एक तरफ हम जानते हैं कि नई तकनीक युवाओं को कई क्षेत्रों में और अधिक बेरोजगार बना देगी। दूसरी तरफ हमें और भी कई नौकरियों की जरूरत है। हमारी चुनौतियां बहुत खास हैं।
हमें राहुल जैसे युवा दिमाग की जरूरत है जो देश का नेतृत्व कर सके। हमें एक खुले दिमाग वाले व्यक्ति की आवश्यकता है, हमें एक ऐसे व्यक्ति की आवश्यकता है जिसके पास कुछ व्यापक अनुभव हो, वैश्विक अनुभव हो, यही कारण है कि हम सभी यहां बड़ी संख्या में लोगों के साथ बातचीत कर रहे हैं। मैं जानता हूं कि आगे का रास्ता बहुत जटिल है, इतना आसान नहीं है। क्योंकि हमारे भारत के लोगों के दिमाग में कुछ ऐसा है जिससे छुटकारा पाना मुश्किल है। "वह भारत केवल हिंदुओं का है।"
भारत के बारे में हमारा विचार बहुत अलग है जिसे भारत के वर्तमान शासकों ने धमकी दी है। भारत के हमारे मूल विचार विविधता, समावेश, सत्य और प्रेम को चुनौती देते हैं। इससे मुझे दुख होता है। मेरी उम्र में, मेरा विश्वास करो, यह मुझे बहुत भावनात्मक रूप से आहत करता है। अपने बुढ़ापे में मैं गिर पड़ूंगा कि भविष्य में मैं अपने पोते-पोतियों को कैसा भारत दूंगा।
हमने पिछले 75 वर्षों में बहुत प्रगति की है। वास्तव में हम यहां इसलिए हैं क्योंकि भारत ने हमें बहुत कम कीमत पर शिक्षा दी है। इसका श्रेय हमारे संस्थापक पिता पंडित नेहरू और अन्य लोगों को जाता है, जिनके पास IITS, IIM, प्रयोगशालाओं, अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम, परमाणु ऊर्जा और राजीव गांधी के निर्माण की दृष्टि थी और राजीव गांधी ने IT और दूरसंचार को बढ़ावा दिया।
मुझे उनके साथ काम करने का मौका मिला था। और मैं कभी नहीं भूलूंगा कि उसने मेरे जीवन को अर्थ दिया। एक इंजीनियर के अलावा मेरे जीवन का कोई अर्थ नहीं था। राजीव गांधी में न केवल मेरे जीवन को बल्कि हम जैसे लाखों लोगों के लिए रोजगार सृजित करने की राजनीतिक इच्छाशक्ति थी। पीएम मोदी कहते हैं कि भारत में पिछले 70 साल में कुछ नहीं हुआ, दुख होता है, लेकिन वो ठीक है, क्योंकि मुझे झूठ सुनने की आदत है. इसलिए मेरे पास व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ कुछ भी नहीं है। भारत के साथ मेरी समस्या यह है कि मैं वयस्क हूं, भारत के विचार को चुनौती दी गई है।
