ગાંધીજીના સનાતની હિંદુધર્મના ખ્યાલ અને મોહન ભાગવત -આર એસએસ અને નરેન્દ્ર મોદીના સનાતની હિંદુ ધર્મના ખ્યાલ વચ્ચે ખરેખર કોઈ તાત્વિક તફાવત છે ખરો? સનાતની હિંદુ ધાર્મિક માન્યતા અને તેના વિધર્મી સાથેના તમામ વ્યવહારોમાં " નફરતની દુકાન હોય કે મહોબત્ત ની દુકાન "? લોકશાહી ભારત દેશના તમામ નાગરિકો માટે શું જરુર્રી છે? " સનાતની હિંદુ કે દેશના બંધારણના આમુખ મુજબના " અમે ભારતના નાગરિકો કે લોકો બનવું ? ".
ગાંધીજીએ સને 1921ના ઑક્ટોબર માસના માસિક "યંગ ઇન્ડિયા " પોતે સનાતની હિંદુ છે તેવું જણાવી સનાતની હિંદુની ચાર લાયકાતો જણાવી હતી.

(2) I believe in the Varnashram dharma in a sense in my opinion strictly Vedic, but not in its present popular and crude sense. હું વૈદિક ધર્મમાં જણાવેલ "વર્ણાશ્રમ ધર્મ" માં માનું છું . પણ તેના વર્તમાન પ્રચલિત અને અસંસ્કારી કે અસભ્ય ચીલાચાલુ ખ્યાલમાં બિલકુલ વિશ્વાસ ધરાવતો નથી.
(3) I believe in the protection of the cow in its much larger sense than the popular. હું ગૌરક્ષાના સંરક્ષણના વિશાળ ખ્યાલ અને વર્તનમાં સંપૂર્ણ વિશ્વાસ ધરાવું છું .
(4) I do not disbelieve in idol-worship. હું મૂર્તિપૂજામાં સંપૂર્ણ શ્રદ્ધા ધરાવું છું. .
હું ધર્મનિરપેક્ષ માનવવાદી તરીકે(અથવા નિરીશ્વરવાદી ,રેશનાલિસ્ટ માનવવાદી )હિંદુ નથી.કારણકે

I do not believe in the Hindu taboo of not eating beef. હું ખોરાક તરીકે ગૌમાંસના ઉપયોગ ને હિંદુ વર્જ્ય કે નિષેધ ગણે છે તેને હું માનતો નથી.
I disbelieve in idol-worship. મને મૂર્તિપૂજામાં બિલકુલ શ્રદ્ધા નથી.
